Asus is rollling out Android 10 beta update for Zenfone Max Pro M1

Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus is launching the latest beta update for Android 10 for its Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone. This new update is based on the latest Android 10 operating system with a two-month security patch for November 2019. The company recently released an Android 10 Beta 6 update for Asus ROG Phone 2.

Asus releases an Android 10 beta update for Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone users in India and France. The new beta update for Android 10 extends the software WW-17.2017.1911.407 and has a firmware size of approx. 1.6 GB. This beta version update is only available for WW-SKU devices with the Android 9 operating system version.

According to the company’s official statement, Asus India said in response to a Twitter user: “This latest Android 10 update for Zenfone Max Pro M1 is beta-based. Users can expect stable version updates to arrive soon. Stay tuned as before mentioned, the update is equipped with the Android security patch from November 2019, while the smartphone had already received the security patch from December 2019 for Android 9 Pie.

The Android 10 based beta update for the Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone will include changes to the overall design of the user interface. The new software update also offers system-wide dark mode, redesigned symbols, smooth animation and support for gesture navigation. Other important functions of Android 10 are Smart Reply, better privacy, location control and much more.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is equipped with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of FHD + (1080 × 2160 pixels). The smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and the Adreno 509 GPU. The device also has a fingerprint sensor with a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh.

The device has a dual-camera configuration on the back with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front has an 8-megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of 1: 2.2. For connectivity, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 4G LTE and Micro-USB 2.0 for charging.
