OnePlus 8 series launch event got postponed reason coronavirus concerns
Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, has told Weibo that the company won’t be able to host a major offline launch event in the next few months. OnePlus is preparing to host the upcoming OnePlus 8 series through an online live-stream event under coronavirus – Introduce concerns.
The news portal GizmoChina reported on Saturday that the lineup includes the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and the OnePlus 8 Lite smartphones. It is speculated that the OnePlus 8 lineup will be official in late March or April.
It is rumored that the OnePlus 8 series will be launched in late March or April this year, just a few weeks before OnePlus’ specific release cycle. OnePlus shook a bit this year with the launch of three phones – OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8 Lite – all of which have previously appeared in concept-based renderings. Now OnePlus 8 Pro is reportedly seen for the first time on a live photo. The interesting thing is that the leaked OnePlus 8 Pro renderings and design schemes are displayed on the phone offered for the camera.
OnePlus 8 Pro Hands-On Photo Leaked
The alleged OnePlus 8 Pro photo to touch was first seen on Discord and later shared on Twitter. The phone is wrapped in transparent protective sleeves, which are in a new sales unit. Although the color of the back of the alleged OnePlus 8 Pro is not visible, the camera module and the rest of the hardware can be clearly seen.
The alleged OnePlus 8 Pro image clearly shows a quad rear-view camera setup with an LED flash. The three lenses are stacked vertically in a tablet-shaped module that creates a small bump under which the LED flash is located. The fourth camera lens is on an alleged laser autofocus module. The aesthetics we see in the leaked image are almost identical to the alleged OnePlus 8 Pro design charts from November 2019 and the leaked rendering that showed up a month ago.
OnePlus 8 Pro should have an IP68 degree of protection for dust and water resistance. The upcoming OnePlus phone is reportedly powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC with at least 8 GB of RAM and can be up to 16 GB in size. Other rumors say that the phone includes a curved 6.5-inch AMOLED display with punch and 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a 4,500 mAh battery with 50 W quick charge cable.
