There is a new initiative available for citizens who are following lockdown measures. NITI Aayog, which launched the Aarogya Setu contact tracing app has now launched the AarogyaSetu Mitr along with the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Prime Minister. The Aarogya Setu Mitr telemedicine portal will offer free COVID-19 related consultation to the users. Other than that, the Aarogya Setu-branded portal offers ePharmacy, and Home Lab Test services as well.
One can log on to the website and opt for any of the three options: Consult Doctor, Home Lab Test and ePharmacy. The Home Lab Test section includes partners like Dr Lal Pathlabs, SRL Diagnostics, Metropolis, Thyrocare and others. Clicking on any of these navigates the user to the company’s website from where they can apply for the test. The ePharmacy tab lets you order medicines from 1mg, netmeds.com, MedLife and PharmEasy.
The Swasth provides over 1,000 verified doctors in major Indic languages like Marathi, Kannada, Odia, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English. Users can avail consultations from 9 am to 9 pm IST. It also provides free COVID-19 helpline. Also, StepOne also provides free COVID-19 teleconsultations to citizens. To avail the service, users will have to click on the third-party partner they wish to go to and it will redirect you to their site for further process. One important point to note here is that only COVID-19 related consultations are offered for free, while all other consultations may be offered at a cost which can be known on the website. The consultation fees will vary based on the doctor.
