Xiaomi recently announced that its Poco sub-brand will now operate as an independent brand with its team. The announcement came with the expectation that the Poco F2 could see the light of day after more than a year and a half since the launch of the first Cocoa phone. While the world is waiting for a successor to the Poco F1, it seems that the Poco F2 Lite is actually the first cell phone of the independent brand Poco.
A suspected leak of the upcoming Poco phone was brought online with permission like an anonymous tipster about RevAtlas. The leaks reveal live images of the device as well as key details of the Poco F2 Lite. The photos show that the front of the Poco F2 Lite has a water drop just like the Poco F1. The device information page indicates that the device name is “Poco F2 Lite”.
Furthermore, leaks suggest that the upcoming smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor. The chipset was launched by Qualcomm last year and is based on 7 nm process technology. The processor is paired with an Adreno 620 GPU and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X52 modem for 5G connectivity.
The leaks also reveal that the Poco F2 Lite is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. However, there is no official information about the Poco F2 Lite and the company has not even confirmed its presence. So it is better to take this report with a pinch of salt.
