Ironman R300 fitness has 25-day battery life
The latest Timex Ironman smartwatches, R0000 GPS, bundles workout essentials – on-the-wrist heart rate monitoring, guided coaching, performance metrics to performance meters and water resistance range – and sometimes adding a useless add-on that increases smartwatch prices is saved. The R004 GPS key is only $ 5 and you can only use the GPS for two hours. The company claims that the battery will last up to 3 days until it returns.
Like the Timex Ironman One GPS, it is more a fitness band than a smartwatch, or, in the company’s words, “sport-first smartwatch.” While many smartwatches offer some level of fitness tracking, as well as non-fitness features such as text and calls, Timex will find customers who want a robust, long-lasting fitness tracker and no add-ons.
The design is not a novel one but includes all the features you’d expect from a fitness tracker such as the ability to change the face of a device, swipe through commands, and view related training data at a glance. The watch comes with a silicone rubber strap, which is offered in gray, black and “silver”. And, of course, at $120, the price is hard to beat.
